Mike Konkle joined the dairy industry because of his admiration for the hardworking people who provide what he calls the most perfect food on earth. With a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas, he formerly worked as an account executive for Acosta Sales and Marketing, where he handled marketing for several nationally known brands before joining Dairy MAX in 2005. A native of Sherman, Texas, he currently lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with his bride of 38 years, Carolyn. They have two grown sons and two fantastic daughters-in-law they consider their own. Mike is also blessed with two precious granddaughters, Claire and Sadie.
Favorite healthy breakfast:
A mixed fruit, yogurt and milk smoothie. I also like oatmeal made with milk.
Favorite physical activity:
Bird hunting.
Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten:
Fried Grasshoppers. I owe that experience to one of our team members, Dr. Lana Frantzen. I still owe her for that one.
