Dayle Hayes is a parent, educator, award-winning author, and member of the School Nutrition Association. She collected success stories for “Making It Happen,” a joint CDC-USDA project; wrote a chapter in “Managing Child Nutrition Programs: Leadership for Excellence;” and co-authored “Nutrition Guidance for Healthy Children Ages 2 to 11 Years” for the Academy of Nutrition Dietetics in 2014.
Dayle holds a Silver FAME Award as a Friend of Child Nutrition and a Medallion Award from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; she’s also been recognized as one of FoodService Director magazine’s 20 Most Influential and as the 2013 Montana School Food Service Professional of the Year.
