Sarah rejoined Dairy MAX in July 2023, having previously served from March 2015 to February 2019 as program coordinator for Health & Wellness. She is a registered dietitian, earning her Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics and her Master of Science in Human Sciences from Stephen F. Austin State University. Sarah has 11 years of experience working for FoodMinds as a director, Compass Group in sustainability and in wellness and communications, as a consultant for Shell Oil Company, and as a district dietitian at the University of Houston System with Aramark. She has six years of industry experience and belongs to both the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The empathy and compassion shown by a healthcare team when she was a child, particularly dietitians, inspired her to pursue a career aimed at improving health and wellness. Her first job as a campus dietitian at the University of Houston, where she used Dairy MAX resources, solidified her interest in dairy nutrition. Sarah has received several accolades, including the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year Award from the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Media Awards from both the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Houston Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Sarah spends much of her time involved in charitable work, including serving as the immediate past president of the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She also enjoys baking pies, cooking with her husband, Sean, and performing in theatre. She and her husband currently reside in The Woodlands, Texas, with their dog, Nora, and cat, Zelda.
